Dead At 69 : Remembering Legendary David Bowie and His Sayings

The legendary English singer, songwriter and actor David Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016, after almost tussling with cancer for 18 months. A recent confirmation of his demise was made on his official Facebook Page which read:

“January 10 2016 - David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”

In the early 1970's, David Bowie added a new element to pop music with his innovative songs and stagecraft. His big breakthrough came in 1972 with the release of the album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From The Mars.” His latest album "BlackStar" released last week on January 8, Friday, which was also his birthday.
