Bhagwat Gita In Schools

Leaders of RSS, Gau-Raksha Organisations, ISKCON, VHP are of the view that Bhagwat Gita is not a myth but a part of history which needs to be conveyed to students irrespective of their religion because when Gita was narrated, the word Hindu did not even exist. 


Gieogita, a global organisation to promote the message of Gita has planned to send the book to every school, office and organisation. Mohan Bhagat of RSS has mentioned the need of Gita to strengthen the social fabric of India which has been weakened deeply. Everytime when there is an imbalance in the society the values of Gita are being recalled. Members of Gieogita said Gita would be taken to educational institutions to impart,"concentration, discipline and value lessons". "Ghar Ghar Gita" is the slogan which the organisations stand for.
