10 Actors Who Never Won Oscar

Holding the trophy of Oscar is the dream of every actor. Where some get the chance to triumph over the title, some are still to conquest even after spectacular work and dedication. Here are few well deserving actors who have never won an Oscar till date.

Leonardo Dicaprio : Even after having big blockbusters like Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, Inception, The Great Gatsby and many more the actor didn't win a single Oscar. He is being nominated four times. Latest being The Wolf of Wall Street.

Amy Adams : She has been nominated five times but left empty handed every time. This 40 year old lady was recently nominated for her role in 'American Hustle' but couldn't do much. 'American Hustle' was nominated in 10 different categories but didn't win a single award.

Brad Pitt : He has done some spectacular work in movies like 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', Fight Club, Troy but couldn't get hold of a single Academy Award. He has also been nominated for 5 times. Although he was one of the producers of "12 years a slave' which got the best picture prize.

 Johnny Depp : Captain Jack Sparrow has proven himself in all spheres of acting. One of the most versatile actor be it 'Pirates of The Caribbean', 'Sweeney Todd', 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas'. He has been nominated thrice but fetched not a single title. 

Tom Cruise : This actor defines an era. 90's was the time when this actor used to rule the screen. He has been nominated for Academy Awards thrice but unfortunately couldn't fetch a single award in his name.

Julianne Moore :  Julianne has four nominations on her name but she is yet to acclaim one. She is one of the most powerful actor in the industry. Her work in 'The End of Affairs' and 'Boogie Nights' are commendable.

Michelle Pfeiffer : Michelle became famous after her work in 'Scarface'. Her amazing performance in 'Grease 2', 'The Fabulous Baker Boys' or 'Dangerous Liaisons' couldn't get her an oscar. She has been nominated thrice for Oscar.

Glenn Close : Three times winner of Tonys, two times Golden Globes and three Emmys. This actor got nominations in Oscar six times yet didnt win a single award.

Helena Bonham : Helena is a very natural actor. She loves to play unconventional roles. 

Her role as Bellatrix in Harry Potter is unforgettable. She got nominations in Oscar twice but couldn't win despite her great works.

Peter O'Toole : This actor holds the most number of nominations in Academy Awards with commendable eight times but didn't win a single award. Although he was been awarded an honorary Oscar in 2003.
